Why buy super low budget floor standing speakers just to bash them?

Not really the goal here, even if the temptation is great. I do need music in my garage after all.

At $100CAD used, and fed by a $50 integrated Class D amplifier/Tuner/Preamp, they just boom the shed with huge bass boost. :)

I won!

 

I just found the worst speaker I ever measured in my life. Worse than my previous Cerwin Vega :)

And that was not a small feat to beat them in a packed race to the bottom...

Here’s a 1 meter measurement in a non-optimal setup.

​

  • 10% distortion.

  • Long time delay.

  • Very lively enclosure, no bracing used inside.

  • cheap, you buy cheap, you get cheap

That says it all...

Remember, I have a French mother tongue, doing my best to express myself in the Shakespeare language.

Update May 2024: this website won't be updated for a while as WIX decided to max storage capacity at 500 Mb unless you pay a monthy fee to obtain more storage (the site is already at 2.4 Go).
