Once again, here’s the Radian 760PB NEO mounted on Selenium HL14-50N exponential horn.

Horn is good for 600Hz (optimistic mfg specification)

As expected, results are very promising in the 800 Hz to 6 kHz range. The lesson learned from the 340HZ JMLC, is that the 760PB isn’t very happy below 800 Hz, no matter how big of a horn is in front of it.

So, the big horn isn’t a good match at all for the 760PB. The HL14 is much better suited for this type of driver than the big 340Hz JMLC.

In my quest to clone, or try to replicate the classic JBL 4355, this horn/CD combination would be a very good candidate.

Of course, I'll use the Beyma CP22 bullet tweeter from ~6500 Hz and above.

More to follow.

Thanks to a friend, Bevis, most of my website has been corrected for proper English grammar, much easier read now :)
