I purchased three different Mogami cable spools for future testing.
Knowing each one will likely sound different, I’m unable to predict which one would perform best for my subjective testing.

I’m waiting to move into my next home, so I can build them into custom lengths.
​
In the meantime, the spools remain untouched.
I'm using cheap amazon XLR cable... what a shame.

I don’t even want to show picture of it.

All my DIY silver XLR cables are way too short. I may re-order some longer runs, but not being shielded, I'm afraid they’ll result in picking up noise. Will have to test that option too. Inherent noise cancellation of XLR cables helps, but cable construction technique matters a lot as well, when it comes to noise immunity.
